My grandparents are celebrating their 60th anniversary today. I have to brag that they are the best grandparents a kid could ask for. My grandpa turned 80 last month and my grandma turned 76 this week. They are still going strong! Yes, they've had 60 years of marriage, but it has been work. I will never forget the story of my grandma throwing a fresh baked pie at my grandpa. She missed and then had to clean up the mess. :) My grandma, Kay, has been such an important part of my life. I was named after her and passed down the middle name of Kay to Jolie. I can only hope we both grow up as the sweet lady she is. Hugh received the middle name, Lawrence, after my grandpa Lawrence. Lord help us! :)
